Vidal Security AI — Terms of Service

1. The product

Vidal Security AI is a WordPress security plugin. Its free features work locally on your site without any account. The AI Guardian is an optional premium service that connects your site to our servers for AI-assisted threat classification, blocking recommendations and plain-language reporting.

2. License

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the plugin on the number of sites covered by your subscription (one site per license unless your plan states otherwise). You may use it on sites you own or manage for clients.

3. Subscription and billing

The AI Guardian costs US$19.99 per site, per month, billed in advance and renewed automatically until cancelled. Cancel at any time: the Guardian stays active until the end of the paid period, then switches off automatically. Your free features keep working — cancelling never leaves your site unprotected or locked. While your subscription is active you receive plugin updates and support. If a subscription lapses, updates and the Guardian pause; the free features continue. Refunds: full refund within the first 14 days of a first subscription, no questions asked.

4. Fair use of the AI service

The Guardian includes a generous per-site AI allowance sized for real attacks. Excessive automated abuse of the service may be rate-limited; if your site legitimately faces an unusually large attack, contact us — genuine threats are exactly what the service is for.

5. Honest limits of security software

Security tools reduce risk; none can guarantee a site will never be compromised. You remain responsible for your hosting, passwords, backups and keeping WordPress, themes and plugins updated (the plugin helps you watch all of that, and tells you plainly when something needs attention).

6. Automated blocking

The Guardian and the local bot shield may temporarily block IP addresses that behave like attackers. Rare false positives are possible; the allowlist and one-click unblock tools in the panel always give you the final word, and allowlisted addresses are never blocked.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use the service to attack, scan or interfere with sites you do not own or manage, and do not attempt to probe or overload the Guardian service itself.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page and in the plugin changelog, and continued use after a change means acceptance. Last updated: October 15, 2026. Vidal Security AI is operated by Vidal Digital Miami.
